- Gather 80 cards.
- Shuffle them thoroughly! creating a single draw pile.
- Distribute 40 cards to each player.
How To Draft
Solomon Draft is a two-player format with “I split, you choose” mechanic.
- Split: First player looks at the top 8 cards and splits them into two face-up piles. The piles do not need to be even (e.g., they can be 4-4, 5-3, 6-2, 7-1, or even 8-0).
- Choose: Second player chooses one of the two piles to add to their draft pool. The first player gets the un-chosen pile.
- Switch: Switch roles and repeat until all cards have been split and chosen.
