At A Glance
- Players: 2-3
- Setup Overhead: Low
- Minutes: 15
- Core Concept: Create a 3x3 grid of face-up cards every round, choosing a single row or column each pick.

Setup Requirements
These are the steps that need to happen before you can start the draft:
- Gather enough cards for the number of players
- For two players you’ll need 144 cards and build draft pools of between 40 and 48 cards.
- For three players you’ll need 180 cards and build draft pools of between 40 and 45 cards.
- Shuffle the entire cube thoroughly!.
- Form a single facedown draw pile from which to build the grids.
How To Draft
Drafting involves building grids and taking turns selecting rows or columns of cards, see the corresponding steps for the number of players.
For Two Players
- Arrange 9 cards from the draw pile in a 3x3 grid faceup.
- The first player chooses any single row or column and takes those three cards.
- The second player chooses any single remaining row or column and takes those cards (which could be just two cards).
- Discard the remaining three or four cards.
- Lay out a new grid and repeat, alternating which player picks first.
- Draft 16 packs (grids) in total for pools of 40 to 48 cards.
For Three Players
- Arrange 9 cards from the draw pile in a 3x3 grid faceup.
- The first player takes a row or column.
- Refill the now-empty row/column with three new faceup cards from the draw pile.
- The second player then picks a complete set of three from the refilled grid.
- The third player picks a remaining row or column.
- Discard the rest of the cards.
- Lay out a new pack and rotate which player picks first.
- Draft 15 packs (grids) in total for pools of 40 to 45 cards.
